Job summary

Sandstone Care Group is seeking an Activities Assistant for Telford Hall Care Home. The role offers £13.12 per hour with a 20-hour-per-week contract and a 10am-3pm shift, weekends included.

You will lead arts, crafts, music, games, gardening, celebrations and outings to enrich residents’ lives. As part of the team, you will deliver tailored activities, encourage participation, and build relationships with residents, families and colleagues.

• Friendly, outgoing person who enjoys making a difference.
• Creative, enthusiastic and full of ideas.
• Confident engaging with older people, including those living with dementia.
• A strong communicator who can build meaningful connections.
• Flexible and happy to support occasional outings and events.
• Care or activities experience is desirable but not essential
