You will learn residents’ interests, tailor activities, and create a warm, inclusive atmosphere with creativity and enthusiasm. The role isnot-for-profit, with a caring, community-focused environment and regular weekday hours.

Qualifications

• Previous experience organising activities within a care setting preferred.
• Creative, enthusiastic and outgoing personality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan and manage a varied programme of activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a varied programme of activities encouraging social engagement.
• Tailor activities to residents' interests, abilities and preferences.
• Create a lively, stimulating environment with meaningful experiences.
• Build relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• Maintain activity records and organised programme.
• Support trips, seasonal events and outings as appropriate.
• Encourage residents to stay active, connected and involved.
• Work with care staff to ensure activities suit individual needs.
• Engage residents and foster independence, confidence and participation.
