Proven CRE experience in Permanent Way/railway infrastructure.
Knowledge of Permanent Way engineering principles and track construction.
Strong understanding of railway engineering standards and procedures.
Experience managing engineering assurance and technical compliance on rail projects.
Experience overseeing design, construction and installation activities.

Undertake the role of CRE for Permanent Way works on railway infrastructure projects.
Ensure technical integrity and engineering assurance of PWAY activities.
Review, verify and approve engineering documentation per procedures and delegated authority.
Ensure PWAY works comply with standards, specifications and engineering requirements.
Coordinate engineering activities across the project lifecycle.
Provide technical guidance to Project Engineers, site teams and subcontractors.
Oversee design and construction interfaces with other disciplines.
Identify, assess and manage technical risks, changes and issues.
Conduct site inspections and reviews to ensure work aligns with approved designs.
Maintain engineering records, reports and assurance documentation.
Liaise with client, contractors, designers and stakeholders on engineering matters.
Promote safety, quality and engineering compliance culture throughout delivery.
