MPI Limited in Belfast, Northern Ireland, is seeking an experienced Permanent Way Supervisor to oversee track construction activities on projects across Northern Ireland. The role focuses on coordinating with other disciplines, ensuring safety, quality, and delivery within budget and project requirements.

The successful applicant will supervise on-site teams, perform technical assessments, and manage interfaces to ensure smooth delivery of construction activities in a contract environment.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive understanding of Permanent Way engineering principles.
• Good knowledge of engineering interfaces between Permanent Way and other disciplines.
• Relevant Safety Management training.
• Strong knowledge of track standards, processes and procedures.
• Previous experience in a site-based supervisory role.
• Ability to coordinate site teams and manage technical activities effectively.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and coordinate Permanent Way track works across projects in Northern Ireland.
• Undertake site visits, technical assessments and progress reviews as required.
• Coordinate all on-site technical activities, ensuring works align with project specs.
• Manage site manpower to ensure resources are effectively allocated.
• Liaise with other engineering disciplines to manage interfaces and ensure smooth delivery.
• Monitor site progress, quality and safety, addressing issues as they arise.
• Ensure all works comply with relevant track standards, processes and procedures.
• Promote a strong safety culture across all site activities.
