Job summary

Cranswick Lazenby's in Hull is seeking an experienced FLT Driver to support warehouse and production operations. You will move goods safely, load/unload, and maintain accurate stock flow across the site.

This role offers a 4 on, 4 off pattern with day and night shifts, promoting a strong work-life balance for reliable, safety-conscious operators.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence is essential.
• Experience operating a counterbalance forklift preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload vehicles and move stock around the site.
• Keep stock stored correctly and report any faults.
• Support warehouse and production teams as required.
• Carry out routine equipment checks and follow safety procedures.

The Role

As an FLT Driver, you'll play a key role in supporting warehouse and production operations, ensuring goods are moved safely, efficiently, and accurately throughout the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.


• Loading and unloading vehicles.


• Moving stock and finished products throughout the warehouse and production areas.


• Ensuring stock is stored correctly and safely.


• Carrying out routine equipment checks and reporting any faults.


• Assisting with stock control and inventory duties.


• Following all health & safety and food safety procedures.


• Supporting warehouse and production teams as required.

What We're Looking For

• A valid Counterbalance FLT Licence.


• Previous FLT driving experience is desirable.


• Good awareness of health and safety procedures.


• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
