EMR Group is seeking a diligent Yard Operative to join our site in Scotland. You will safely operate material handling equipment and support daily loading, stock rotation, and housekeeping tasks on a busy outdoor site.

We value a practical mindset, a can-do attitude, and the ability to work well as part of a team. You should be comfortable with early starts and rotating Saturday mornings as required, contributing to our sustainable operations.

Qualificações

• Experience operating 360 Material handlers or similar equipment.
• Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable working outdoors in an industrial environment.

Responsabilidades

• Safely operate360 Material handlers to load ferrous and non-ferrous scrap materials into bulk and rigid vehicles.
• Carry out stock rotation, back-stacking, and support stock takes.
• Complete General Yard Operative (GYO) duties as required, including loading, unloading, processing, and moving materials around site.
• Assist customers and visitors on site, providing good customer service.
• Carry out routine checks on plant, equipment, and work areas.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping.
• Work safely at all times, following company procedures and health & safety requirements.

About You

For this role you will need:

• Experience operating 360 Material handlers or similar equipment (training can be provided).

• Flexible approach, able to carry out both 360 Material handlerand GYO duties.
• Strong awareness of safety and safe working practices.
