Job summary

Lloyds British, part of the Speedy Hire Group, is seeking a Crane Engineer to service overhead travelling cranes, hoists and related lifting equipment across customer sites.

You'll diagnose faults, carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs, and ensure safety and compliance to LOLER and PUWER standards while minimising downtime for clients.

The role offers extensive training, a company vehicle and progression opportunities within a supportive, safety‑driven team.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience servicing/maintaining overhead cranes and hoists.
• Understanding of LOLER and PUWER requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, inspection and maintenance of overhead cranes and hoists.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and perform effective repairs.
• Provide professional technical advice to customers to minimise downtime.
