Job summary

Lloyds British Group Ltd, part of the Speedy Hire Group, is seeking an experienced Crane Engineer to join our Erith team. You will inspect, service, maintain and repair overhead cranes and hoists across varied client sites, ensuring safety, compliance and reliability while delivering excellent customer service.

Requirements include NVQ3/HNC/HND/City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering, prior crane/hoist experience, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Qualified engineer with strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to work at height.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, maintain and repair overhead cranes and hoists.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs to minimise downtime.
• Complete preventative maintenance to improve reliability and comply with LOLER/PUWER.
