Job summary

Airbus Belfast Limited offers a Craft Engineering Apprentice programme in Belfast, a 36-month hands-on training path designed to develop skills for aircraft wing assembly.

You will study towards NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Performing Engineering Operations, Level 2 Academic Qualification, and Essential Skills, while working with experienced fitters and engineers to support production of the A220 wing box and mid fuselage.

Qualifications

• Must have at least four GCSEs including Maths, English Language and Science or a technology-based subject.
• Plus one other GCSE at grade C/4.

Responsibilities

• Learn foundational skills for building aircraft during the first 12 months.
• Support fitting activities and preparation in wing box production areas during Years 2 and 3.
• Complete day-release academic studies toward Level 3 NVQ Extended Diploma and Level 3 Academic Certificate.
• Contribute to assembly of metallic and composite components for wings and mid fuselage.
