Job summary

Airbus invites applicants to join a 36‑month Craft Apprentice program at Broughton, in Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance. You will spend Year 1 at Coleg Cambria studying NVQ Level 2, Level 3 BTEC, and Essential Skills, then move to Broughton for Years 2–3 to gain hands-on training on production machinery and PLCs, with a clear pathway to qualifications.

The role offers 35 hours per week, pension, and flexible benefits, with a starting salary of £19,185 and the chance to contribute to Airbus

Qualifications

• GCSEs including Maths and English as required.
• Level 3 NVQ Extended Diploma (Engineering maintenance).
• HNC in Mechanical Technology or Electrical and Electronic Technology depending on pathway.

Responsibilities

• Engage in hands-on maintenance training on aircraft-related systems.
• Learn and apply troubleshooting and maintenance procedures.
• Complete academic studies alongside practical shifts over the 36‑month program.
