Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a Craft Machining Apprentice for a 36‑month program at the Broughton site. The role offers a starting salary of £19,185 and a 35‑hour week, with flexible shifts and extensive hands-on training in machining for wing components.

You will study at Coleg Cambria in Year 1 and then join Airbus Broughton in Years 2–3, working with our machinists to manufacture wing skins and panels, with day release to gain Level 3 qualifications and related

Qualifications

• GCSEs with Maths and English at grade C/4 or above.
• Science GCSE (Double Award) or Physics equivalent, plus two additional GCSEs at grade C/4.
• Attach CV and cover letter stating motivation for the role.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on machining experience on live aircraft components.
• Attend day-release college to gain Level 3 Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering.
• Work at Airbus Broughton machine shop on wing skins and stringers.
