Job summary

HTR Care and Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Registered Care Manager to lead services supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and complex needs.

You will report to the Director, oversee quality, compliance, staff development and person-centred support across two sites located within reasonable commute. A full driving licence and on-site presence are expected, with out-of-hours on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience as a CQC Registered Manager.
• Experience with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs including mental health needs.
• Residential care or supported living experience.
• Practical experience of CQC inspections, compliance and service improvement.
• Proven ability to lead staff, manage safeguarding and oversee person-centred support.

Responsibilities

• Drive care quality and compliance: audits, inspection readiness, improvement plans and safe service delivery.
• Team leadership: recruitment, rotas, supervision, appraisals and training.
• Person-centred support: care planning, risk management and effective communication for people with varied communication needs.
• Service management: referrals, occupancy, budgets and relationships with families and professionals.
• Lead on-site operations for two services and ensure effective coordination between sites.
