Job summary

CS UK Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced CQC Dual Registered Manager to lead two transitional homes in Birmingham City Centre. You will ensure compliance with CQC regulations, create a safe, child-centred environment, and oversee staff development and safeguarding.

The role requires an Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare, and a proven track record as a Registered Manager.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare.
• Previous experience as a Registered Manager in a similar setting.
• Understanding of DoLS, mental capacity, and restrictive practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day running of two residential homes and ensure full compliance with CQC regulations.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and child-centred environment for young people.
• Manage, support, and develop a staff team through supervision and training.
• Develop and review person-centred care plans tailored to each young person.
• Work in partnership with families and external professionals.
• Monitor safeguarding, risk management, and overall quality of care.
• Support young people’s education, health, and emotional wellbeing.
• Oversee activities, trips, and positive experiences for our young people.

Job description

An excellent new job opportunity has arisen for an experienced, CQC Dual Registered Manager to lead our transitional homes based in Birmingham City Centre. This role involves overseeing two residential homes that operate as part of the same location.

You will join a provider with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality care and achieving positive outcomes for children and young people

As the Registered Manager your key responsibilities include:

• Leading the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations
• Creating a safe, nurturing, and child-centred environment
• Managing, supporting, and developing a staff team through supervision and training
• Developing and reviewing person-centred care plans tailored to each young person
• Working in partnership with families and external professionals
• Monitoring safeguarding, risk management, and overall quality of care
• Supporting young people’s education, health, and emotional wellbeing
• Overseeing activities, trips, and positive experiences for our young people

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager in a similar setting
• Experience supporting children and young people with complex needs and behaviours
• Understanding of DoLS, mental capacity, and restrictive practices
• Confident leader with excellent communication and organisational skills
• Track record of achieving “Good” or “Outstanding” Ofsted ratings

To be considered for this position you must hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare

The successful Registered Manager will receive an excellent salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum DOE - Pay frequency is monthly. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working on days. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
