Job summary

Novus, the prison education provider, is seeking a Cover Teacher to join our team on an ad-hoc basis at HMP Altcourse. You will deliver engaging lessons and support learners in a dynamic environment, helping them progress and stay inspired.

Ideally you hold a teaching qualification and are committed to delivering high-quality sessions. This role offers flexible hours within a supportive LTE Group framework and opportunities to make a real difference in learners' lives.

We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Altcourse, working as a Cover Teacher on an ad-hoc basis.

Site Information

HMP Altcourse is a category B local prison, receiving sentenced and remand adult male prisoners as well as young offenders. The prisons aim is to create an environment in which staff and prisoners feel safe. The prison's mission is to provide a secure, safe, and rehabilitative environment that encourages positive change and prepares inmates for a successful reintegration into society.
