Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Cover Supervisor for Carmarthenshire. The role focuses on delivering pre-set work in the absence of the class teacher, maintaining a positive classroom environment and managing behaviour to support pupil learning.

You’ll work across different subjects and year groups, building strong relationships with pupils and staff. This term-time position offers competitive daily pay (£105.00–£115.00 p/d) via PAYE, with dedicated consultant support 24/7 and flexible hours to

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
• Confident managing groups of pupils in a classroom setting.
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
• Calm, professional and adaptable approach.
• A genuine passion for education and supporting young people.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
