Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a confident Cover Supervisor for a partnership secondary school in Llanelli. You will deliver pre-set lessons, supervise pupils and maintain a calm, engaging classroom during term time.

The role requires good behaviour management, strong communication and DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one. Competitive weekly PAYE pay of £100–£115 per day.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Education, Supporting Teaching and Learning, or a relevant subject is desirable.
• Previous experience working with children or young people is beneficial.
• Experience in a secondary school environment is desirable.
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills are essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important.
• Reliable, adaptable and proactive approach is preferred.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) is advantageous.

Responsibilities
