Job summary

TeacherActive are recruiting a confident Cover Supervisor for a long‑term temporary role in Caerleon, Newport. Immediate start for a secondary classroom, supervising across age ranges, delivering pre‑planned work and maintaining positive behaviour to keep learners engaged.

Salary: £108 - £120 per day

The school is looking to appoint a confident Cover Supervisor on a long-term temporary basis with an immediate start. The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise classes across the secondary age range, deliver pre-planned work, manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain focused and engaged in their learning.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• A relevant qualification or degree is desirable
• Experience working with secondary-aged students
• Experience supervising groups of young people
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A confident, adaptable and enthusiastic approach
