Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is seeking an experienced Cover Supervisor for a mainstream secondary school in Telford. You will supervise classes, deliver pre-planned work and use strong IT skills to support lessons while maintaining positive behaviour and student engagement.

The role offers long-term placements with flexible day-to-day work, with dedicated consultants to assist onboarding and CPD opportunities. Competitive pay and a referral scheme are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar classroom-based role within a secondary school.
• Proven experience managing classroom behaviour effectively and maintaining a positive learning environment.

• Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of secondary subjects.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar classroom-based role within a secondary school
• Proven experience managing classroom behaviour effectively and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Strong IT skills, including confidence using school systems, interactive whiteboards and digital learning resources
