TeacherActive is seeking experienced Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Bridgnorth and surrounding areas. You will supervise classes during teacher absence, deliver pre-prepared work and help maintain high behaviour and pupil engagement.

This role offers day-to-day, short-term and long-term opportunities with flexible on-site work, 24/7 consultant support and competitive pay rates of £100–£120 per day.

Formación

• Experience with secondary-aged pupils or young people is desirable.

We are recruiting Cover Supervisors for

day-to-day, short-term and long-term opportunities, offering flexibility for candidates who may be looking to gain further experience within secondary education or those seeking a consistent school-based role.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absence, deliver pre-prepared work across a range of subjects, manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain focused and supported throughout their lessons.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils or young people is desirable
• Confidence supervising classes across KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to confidently follow lesson plans and instructions left by teaching staff
• A proactive, reliable and adaptable approach with a genuine interest in supporting young people's education
