Leigh Academy Longfield, part of Leigh Academies Trust, invites applications for a Cover Supervisor. The role supports staff and students, maintaining good behaviour and keeping learners engaged during teacher absences. Training is provided, and you may work across subjects aligned to your preferences.

Graduates are welcome to apply as an entry path into teaching. The post offers term-time hours (8:15am–3:15pm, Mon–Fri) with a salary of £19,655 per annum (£26,016 FTE), plus local government

Qualificações

• Excellent interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to build good rapport with staff and students.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure good behaviour of students and engagement during teacher absence.
• Provide cover work and use as a basis for lessons where possible.
• Help determine subject specialisms with preference and establish rapport with pupils.
