Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Cover Supervisor for a secondary school in Cannock. The role is long‑term with a view to permanency for the right candidate.

You will supervise classes during teacher absence, deliver pre-set work, and support pupils' learning within a welcoming school community. The successful candidate will have experience with children, GCSE Maths/English, and an NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant or willingness to work towards.

Qualifications

The school is looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor on a long‑term basis, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right Cover Supervisor. The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise whole classes during teacher absences, deliver pre‑set work, manage behaviour effectively and support pupils' learning while contributing to the wider life of the school.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
