Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated SEN Cover Supervisor in Bristol to support students with SEN, SEMH and behavioural needs in a specialist Secondary setting. This full-time, long-term role starts immediately and offers ongoing development and career progression.

You will deliver pre-set lessons, supervise classroom learning, and work closely with teaching and pastoral teams to create a safe, engaging learning environment that supports vulnerable learners and helps them achieve their

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with SEN, SEMH or in an Alternative Provision setting.
• Proven ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively and calmly.

SEN Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Cover Supervisor to join a specialist Secondary SEN & Alternative Provision setting in Bristol. This full-time, long-term opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a rewarding environment and is committed to helping students with SEN, SEMH, and behavioural needs succeed both academically and personally.

Role Details

Location: Bristol
Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term
Start Date: Immediate
Pay: £110 – £140 per day (DOE)
Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence & Own Vehicle Essential

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-set lessons and supervise classroom learning
• Support students with SEN, SEMH, and additional behavioural needs
• Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Build positive and trusting relationships with students
• Create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
• Work collaboratively with teaching and pastoral teams

What We’re Looking For

• Experience within SEN, SEMH, or Alternative Provision preferred
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Calm, patient, and adaptable approach
• Passionate about supporting vulnerable young people
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
