Aspire People are seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to support pupils across Pontypridd. This role is ideal for graduates, Teaching Assistants, trainee teachers, youth workers, coaches or anyone with experience with children or young people.

You will supervise classes during teacher absence, deliver pre-prepared lesson materials, maintain positive behaviour, and support pupils with their learning.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people essential.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills required.
• Confident communication and organisation are important.
• Calm, patient and professional approach expected.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and instructions.

Aspire People are looking for confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to support pupils across Pontypridd.

This is a great opportunity for graduates, Teaching Assistants, trainee teachers, youth workers, sports coaches, tutors and anyone with relevant experience working with children or young people.

Requirements

• Experience working with children or young people essential
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confident communication and organisation
• Calm, patient and professional approach
• Ability to follow lesson plans and instructions
• School experience desirable
• Experience in teaching, tutoring, youth work, coaching or childcare beneficial
• EWC registration or willingness to register
• Enhanced DBS for Children on the DBS Update Service

Desirable

• Efficient and reliable travel to Pontypridd
• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant
