Cover Supervisor – PE Cover

Location: Birmingham, B29

Start Date: September (new academic year)

Day Rate: £95 per day

We are working with a secondary school in Birmingham that requires a Cover Supervisor to deliver PE lessons across KS3. You’ll be working with mixed-ability Year 7 and Year 9 groups, each with around 24 pupils. The role is available due to long-term sickness cover and the school is looking to onboard the right candidate in May to ensure a smooth September start.

Role Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage PE lessons in the absence of the class teacher
• Ensure pupils remain on task and complete set activities
• Maintain a positive and safe learning environment
• Report back to teaching staff on pupil engagement and behaviour
  
  

Candidate Requirements

• Experience working with young people in a school or sports setting
• Strong classroom presence and confident behaviour management
• Reliable and available for a September start with May onboarding
• Interest or background in sport or physical education is preferred
