Job description

We're working with a secondary school in Birmingham to appoint a full-time PE Cover Supervisor for the rest of the academic year. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for sport and education to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 in both classroom and practical settings.

Role Responsibilities

Deliver pre-planned PE lessons to KS3 and KS4 students

Supervise classes during teacher absence, maintaining positive behaviour

Encourage participation and sportsmanship during lessons and activities

Ensure student safety and wellbeing during all physical activities

Provide general cover across other subjects when required

Liaise with teaching staff and senior leaders regarding student progress

Candidate Requirements

Experience working with young people in a school, coaching, or sports setting

Strong communication and behaviour management skills

A positive, proactive attitude and ability to work as part of a team

Degree in sport, PE, or a related field is desirable but not essential

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
