Job summary

Sandwich Infant is seeking a proactive Cover Supervisor to ensure continuity of learning during teacher absence. You will supervise classes across a range of subjects, deliver pre-planned lessons and support students to achieve their best.

This role is 32.5 hours per week, term-time across 193 days, with NJC Scale 3/4 pay (£19,048–£21,231) pro rata to the full-time scale (£25,583–£28,142). The school sits on a 55-acre site between London and the Channel Ports in Kent, with Kent Rewards discounts

Salary: NJC Scale 3/4 Points 5-11 32.5 hours per week, term time 193 days only

£19,048 to £21,231(Pro rata from £25,583-£28,142)

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring continuity of learning during teacher absence. You will supervise classes across a range of subjects, deliver pre-planned lessons, maintain a positive learning environment and support students in achieving their best.

Whether you are taking your first steps into education or bringing previous classroom experience, we would love to hear from you. 32.5 hours per week is our preferred option however a more flexible schedule could be considered for the right candidate.
