Supervise whole classes during teacher absences using pre-set lesson plans
Manage behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
Engage students and encourage them to remain on task
Report back to teaching staff on class progress and behaviour
Confident and professional in managing groups of secondary-aged pupils
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Previous experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential
A positive attitude and a genuine interest in education
