Teaching Personnel is seeking a Cover Supervisor for a secondary school in the NG19 area to support teachers from September.

You will supervise classes during short-term absences, covering across KS3 and KS4, and help pupils stay on task with clear instructions. The role offers full-time term-time hours, competitive daily pay, DBS checks, and potential longer-term opportunities.

Cover Supervisor

Location: NG19, Mansfield

Pay: £100 - £140 per day, depending on experience

Contract: Full-time, term time only

Start Date: September/October 2026

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

A secondary school in the NG19 area is looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to support the team from September onwards. This role would suit someone with experience working with young people in a school, tutoring, coaching or youth work setting. It may also suit graduates considering teacher training in the future.

The successful candidate will supervise classes during short-term staff absences, ensuring pupils remain on task and follow the work set by teaching staff. You will work across different subject areas and year groups, so confidence in managing behaviour and communicating clearly is important.
