Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a Cover Supervisor for a secondary school in the NG19 Mansfield area to start from September/October 2026. The role is full-time, term-time only, with hours 8:30am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri. You will deliver pre-set lessons, manage pupil behaviour, and support academic focus across KS3/KS4.

Ideal candidates have experience with secondary pupils, good communication, GCSEs in English/Maths or equivalent, and an enhanced DBS. Right to work in the UK is required.

Cover Supervisor

Location: NG19, Mansfield

Pay: £100 - £140 per day, depending on experience

Contract: Full-time, term time only

Start Date: September/October 2026

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

A secondary school in the NG19 area is looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to support the team from September onwards. This role would suit someone with experience working with young people in a school, tutoring, coaching or youth work setting. It may also suit graduates considering teacher training in the future.

• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies
