Job summary

Link3 Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Cover Supervisor with a Maths focus to work across secondary schools in Coventry. You will deliver pre-set Maths lessons to KS3/KS4, maintain discipline, and support students to reach their potential in the absence of teaching staff.

The ideal candidate has a strong Maths knowledge, experience with young people, excellent classroom management, and a flexible approach. DBS check and UK Right to Work are required.

Job Title: Cover Supervisor - Maths Specialist

Location:Coventry

Contract Type:Full-time / Part-time / Flexible (Term-Time Only)

Salary:£110 - £135.50 per day (Dependent on experience and qualifications)

Cover Supervisor with a qualification/experience in

Maths to work across a range of

secondary schools in Coventry. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people, supporting their learning in the absence of regular teaching staff.

About the Role:

• Deliver pre-set Maths lessons to classes in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Maintain a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour
• Support students with tasks and contribute to a positive, inclusive atmosphere
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to teaching staff on lesson outcomes and student engagement
• Promote literacy and a love for Maths through enthusiastic lesson delivery and academic support

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A strong knowledge and passion for Maths
• Have some understanding across all key stages up to GCSE's and A'Levels
• Previous experience working with young people (e.g., in education, youth work, or tutoring)
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• The ability to build rapport and inspire students
• A flexible and adaptable approach to work
