Job summary

Envision Education is seeking Cover Supervisors for High Wycombe schools for an immediate start. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, full-time in both primary and secondary settings.

You will supervise classes when the regular teacher is absent, deliver pre-set lessons, and support pupils to stay focused and engaged. Ideal candidates have strong experience with children or young people, solid classroom-based experience, and excellent behaviour-management and communication skills.

Are you an experienced education professional with strong classroom and behaviour management skills?

Envision Education is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors for schools across schools in High Wycombe. We are looking for confident, reliable and experienced individuals who can take responsibility for a classroom and ensure pupils remain focused and engaged in their learning.

This is a great opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, Cover Supervisors, Learning Mentors and other education professionals looking for their next role.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes and support pupils with their learning when their regular teacher is unavailable.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supervising classes and ensuring pupils remain focused

• Delivering pre-set lessons and activities

• Managing classroom behaviour confidently and effectively

• Supporting pupils with their learning and development

• Maintaining a calm, safe and positive classroom environment

• Supporting pupils with questions and learning tasks

• Following school policies and procedures

• Working closely with teachers and school staff

• Providing feedback on pupil behaviour and progress where required
