Teaching Assistant or Higher Level Teaching Assistant (TA or HLTA) Position

We are seeking an experienced, highly skilled TA or HLTA to join our team and provide cover across the school, in both the Primary and Secondary phases. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to the school’s vision, be flexible, and willing to respond to the changing needs of the school at short notice.

Knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment systems is desirable. Experience working with children or adults with challenging behaviours is essential. Candidates should understand the issues faced by pupils with SEN, show initiative, and be able to deliver lessons at short notice. Good IT skills and the ability to direct TAs within the classroom are required. We are looking for someone who is emotionally resilient, has a good sense of humour, and is physically fit for this role.

Knowledge of Restorative Approaches and Team Teach is desirable, although full training will be provided.

Candidates must possess a minimum of GCSE grade C or above in English and Mathematics (or equivalent).
