Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS)
Location: Harlow
Salary Range: £90 - £140per day(Depending on Experience)
Start Time: September 2025
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor (CS), your role will involve delivering pre-set lesson plans in the absence of the class teacher. You’ll ensure that learning continues uninterrupted while maintaining a calm, productive classroom environment for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils.

Your Role Will Include:

• Supervising whole-class lessons during teacher absences.
• Ensuring pupils remain focused and engaged with their learning tasks.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively and fairly.
• Reporting on student progress and any concerns to the teaching team.
• Promoting a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children or within a school setting is highly desirable.
• A confident, adaptable, and calm manner.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A genuine enthusiasm for working with primary-aged pupils.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. degree, childcare, or education qualifications) are an advantage.
• Have anupdated CV(covering thelast ten years barring any unexplained gaps) andan enhanced DBSregistered to theUpdate Service(or be willing to apply for one).
