Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS)
Location: West Bergholt
Salary Range: £90 - £140per day(Depending on Experience)
Start Time: September 2025
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Are you an enthusiastic individual with a passion for education and the confidence to lead a classroom? GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor (CS) to work in a welcoming primary school in West Bergholt, starting in September 2025.

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring pupils remain engaged, motivated, and on task. You’ll play a key role in maintaining consistency in learning and fostering a positive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering set lesson plans across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school expectations.
• Providing feedback to teaching staff regarding student participation and behaviour.
• Creating a calm, supportive, and productive learning atmosphere.
• Supporting pupils to stay focused and complete tasks effectively.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive and flexible approach to classroom management.
• Degree-level education or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
• A genuine passion for working with young learners and helping them succeed.
• Have anupdated CV(covering thelast ten years barring any unexplained gaps) andan enhanced DBSregistered to theUpdate Service(or be willing to apply for one).
