Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd in Hereford is seeking a capable Cover Supervisor to support mainstream secondary schools on a flexible, day-to-day supply basis. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, manage behaviour, and maintain student engagement across KS3 and KS4.

The role offers daily pay at £95-£130, with a dedicated onboarding support team and access to CPD certificates. The position is on-site in Hereford and suited to adaptable, proactive practitioners.

The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring students remain engaged with their learning throughout the school day.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working with young people in an educational setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments
• A positive and proactive attitude
