Job summary

Furze Platt Senior School in Maidenhead is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to supervise classes during teacher absences, supporting students in KS3 and KS4. You will present work set by the teacher, help students stay on task and may lead discussions or group activities.

Training on Behaviour for Learning is provided and the role requires a proactive, compassionate approach. We welcome both full-time and part-time applicants.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes during short-term teacher absences in KS3 and KS4.
• Instruct students on work set by the teacher and help them stay on task.
• Lead class discussions, organise group work or supervise PE/Drama activities.
• Familiarise yourself with school policies, including Behaviour for Learning.
• Use a laptop for lesson delivery and record-keeping.
