Job summary

Supply Desk are seeking a Cover Supervisor to work in a supportive secondary school in the Chichester area. This long-term role has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

You will deliver pre-set work across Key Stages 3 and 4, maintain positive behaviour for learning, and support students throughout the school day. No planning or marking is required, making this a stepping stone into teaching.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people in educational, coaching or mentoring environments.
• Confident managing a classroom and maintaining positive behaviour.
• Able to deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of secondary subjects.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one.
• Hold a degree or relevant experience working within schools (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-set work across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Maintain positive behaviour for learning throughout the school day.
• Support students with tasks and transitions during lessons.
