Supply Desk are working closely with a secondary school in Portsmouth, who are seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to join their team from September. The role involves supervising pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring students stay engaged in the teacher's absence.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people in an educational, coaching or mentoring environment.
• Ability to deliver pre-planned lessons across secondary subjects.
• Enhanced DBS on updating service or willingness to obtain one.
• Hold a degree or relevant experience working within schools (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Supervise pre-planned lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Maintain positive behaviour for learning throughout the school day.
• Support students in learning in the absence of the regular teacher.
