Job summary

Supply Desk is recruiting a confident Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming secondary school in the Southampton area for a September start. The role is long-term with potential for permanency, working full-time hours 8:00am to 3:30pm, and paid at £100–£130 per day.

You will supervise pre-planned lessons, keep students engaged in the teacher's absence and support positive learning throughout the day. Experience with young people in educational settings and strong classroom management are

Qualifications

• Have experience working with young people in an educational, coaching or mentoring environment.
• Confident managing a classroom and maintaining positive behaviour.
• Can deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of secondary subjects.
• Adaptable, organised and able to think on their feet.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hold a degree or relevant experience working within schools (desirable but not essential).
• Are passionate about supporting students and helping them achieve their potential.
• Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to obtain one.

Supply Desk are working closely with a secondary school in Southampton, who are seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to join their team from September.

Overview

Supply Desk are currently seeking a Cover Supervisor to work within a supportive secondary school in the Southampton area. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
