Job summary

Ninestiles An Academy in Birmingham is seeking a Cover Supervisor to support teaching across the academy during term-time. The role requires flexibility to cover colleagues' absence and maintain a calm, orderly environment for learners.

The post is 36.5 hours per week, with the salary range £24,891–£30,777 depending on experience, aligned to Grade 3 FTE. Applicants should have good interpersonal and customer-service skills to engage with parents and the wider community.

Ninestiles, an Academy is seeking a highly motivated andenthusiastic person to join our team as a Cover Supervisor. Candidates musthave a good level of experience and be able to cover colleagues' absence within the lesson across the whole academy curriculum.

Candidates will also have excellent interpersonal and customerservice skills as this role requires regular contact with parents, carers,colleagues, learners, and the local community. The successful candidate will also need to be able to demonstrate that theyare able to cover colleagues' absence and create an orderly and purposefulenvironment in which learners can complete the work set. Other essential skills involve the ability tobe able to work flexibly and prioritise workload, work calm under pressure anduphold a professional, friendly manner at all times.
