Lift Four Dwellings Secondary is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to ensure learning continues during teacher absences. You will deliver pre-prepared materials, manage behaviour, and support SEND targets, working with SEND and pastoral teams to keep students on task.
This fixed-term role is 32.5 hours per week, 8:15am–3:15pm, until 31 August 2027, based at Four Dwellings Academy within Lift Schools. Training, safeguarding commitment, and teamwork are essential.

We are seeking a dedicated, adaptable, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join Lift Four Dwellings Secondary. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to play a vital role in ensuring high-quality learning continues during teacher absences.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring students continue learning in a safe, calm and productive environment. You will deliver pre-prepared lesson materials, support students' learning, manage behaviour effectively, and provide feedback to teaching staff following lessons. You will also lead our 'super cover' provision, when multiple classes require cover alongside a second member of staff.
You will work closely with teaching, SEND and pastoral teams to ensure every student receives the support they need to thrive.
