Cover Supervisor

TeacherActive is currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor to work in mainstream secondary schools in the Mansfield area, with an immediate start. This role covers all year groups from Year 7 to Year 11, and up to Year 13 in schools with sixth form sections. The Cover Supervisor plays a vital role within the school, ensuring continuity of provision for students across all age groups.

The primary responsibility of the Cover Supervisor is to manage classroom activities and ensure students are working on the tasks set. Lesson plans will be provided by the teachers you will be covering, and all work will be handed to you by your line manager.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working with children aged 3-18 (such as tutoring, mentoring, 1-1 coaching, etc.)
• Strong classroom management skills
• Enthusiasm for working with children
• Proactive attitude and willingness to get involved
