About The Role

Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31st August 2026

Working Hours: Full Time, 35 hours per week

Number of positions: 1
Start Date: 28th August 2025

Salary: Grade 4, Points 7-11, £22,007 - £23,456 per annum

The post holder will be responsible for supervising whole classes during short-term absence of teachers. Cover supervisors will give instructions for a lesson as provided by a teacher.

About The Candidate

The cover supervisor will ensure good behaviour of students and engagement in learning activities.

The post holder will respond to students’ questions and provide feedback to teachers on broad issues such as behaviour. They will not undertake planning, preparation, or assessment of students’ progress or development. Cover supervisors will work under general supervision and follow the professional direction of teachers.
