Job summary

Oasis Academy Sholing in Southampton is seeking a friendly, enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to support the short-term absence of teachers. You will supervise whole classes, individuals, or groups, maintaining order and keeping students on task during lessons.

This permanent, term-time role offers OCL Scale 4 SCP 7-11 salary (£27,274 - £29,071) and a day schedule 8:15am to 3:15pm with a half-hour lunch. We provide training, a defined benefit pension, and access to a Trust-wide health scheme.

Qualifications

• You must enjoy working with young people, show resilience and determination, and be committed to helping them learn and succeed.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children and to undergo safer recruitment checks.
• Enhanced DBS checks may be required as part of safeguarding.

• You will supervise whole classes, individuals, or groups of students in absence of a teacher, maintaining order and keeping students on task.
• Assist with covering the short-term absence of teachers during term-time hours.
