Job summary

Oasis Academy Sholing is seeking a friendly and hardworking Cover Supervisor to provide short-term cover for teacher absence. You will supervise classes and individuals, keeping students on task and engaged in learning.

Ideal candidates enjoy working with young people, show resilience, and welcome the challenge of helping students learn and succeed within a supportive academy team.

Qualifications

• Must enjoy working with young people and demonstrate resilience and determination.

Responsibilities

• Supervise whole classes, individuals, or groups of students in the absence of a teacher.
• Maintain good order and keep students on task while learning is taking place.

Cover Supervisor

Salary: OCL Scale 4 SCP 7-11 (FTE - £27,274 - £29,071)

Term time only – 8.15AM – 15:15PM (with half hour lunch break)

Flexible Working Arrangement Considered

An exciting opportunity to join the team at Oasis Academy Sholing.

We are recruiting for a friendly, enthusiastic, and hardworking Cover Supervisor to assist with covering the short-term absence of teachers. You will supervise whole classes, individuals, or groups of students in absence of a teacher, maintaining good order and keeping students on task. You must enjoy working with young people, have huge amounts of resilience and determination and welcome the challenge of helping them to learn and succeed.
