Job summary

GSL Education in South Yorkshire is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to supervise pre-planned lessons in Sheffield schools. You will manage classroom behaviour, support pupils to complete work, and ensure learning continues in the absence of the regular teacher.

This role offers flexible full-time or part-time day-to-day or long-term opportunities. Experience working with children in a school setting and strong communication and organisational skills are essential.

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor (CS) for schools in Sheffield. We are seeking confident, organised, and adaptable individuals who can supervise pre‑planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and ensure learning continues in the absence of the regular teacher.

The Cover Supervisor role provides an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience while developing leadership, behaviour management, and communication skills within a rewarding educational environment.

Cover Supervisor Responsibilities:
