Job summary

Aspire People on behalf of a well-established Northampton secondary school is seeking a reliable, confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join its team.

The successful candidate will supervise classes across a range of subjects during the short-term absence of teaching staff, delivering pre-prepared materials and keeping students engaged and on task. Enhanced DBS or safeguarding checks are expected.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people.
• Confident communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent behaviour management and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage a classroom and maintain discipline.
• Flexible, adaptable and able to work across different subject areas.
• A positive attitude and a genuine interest in education.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to undertake safeguarding checks.

Responsibilities
