Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a mainstream Secondary School based in Warwickshire, seeking a Cover Supervisor for long-term placements and flexible day-to-day work. You will supervise classes across the secondary age range and deliver pre-planned work.

The successful candidate will have experience with young people in a secondary setting, strong classroom and behaviour management, and the ability to deliver lessons across a range of subjects.

The school is looking for a Cover Supervisor for long-term placements, with flexible day-to-day work also available. The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise classes across the secondary age range, deliver pre-planned work, manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain focused and engaged with their learning.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach
