Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Cover Supervisor for a mainstream Secondary School in Warwickshire. The role covers long-term placements with flexible day-to-day work, supervising classes and delivering pre-planned work to keep students engaged.

Applicants should have experience with young people, strong classroom and behaviour management, and excellent communication. On-site roles with PAYE payment and market-leading pay rates are provided.

Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Warwickshire
Start Date: September 2026
Salary: £110 - £150 per day

Are you adaptable, reliable and able to confidently deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Secondary School based in Warwickshire. The school provides a supportive learning environment with a focus on maintaining high expectations and encouraging students to engage positively with their education.

The school is looking for a Cover Supervisor for long-term placements, with flexible day-to-day work also available. The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise classes across the secondary age range, deliver pre-planned work, manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain focused and engaged with their learning.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school setting

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• A flexible and adaptable approach

• A positive can-do attitude
