Job summary

De Aston School in Market Rasen is seeking a Cover Supervisor to ensure learning continues when teachers are absent. The successful candidate will be confident, adaptable and able to build positive relationships with students across years.

You will supervise groups with strong classroom management, engage learners, communicate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a calm, inclusive learning environment while safeguarding young people.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people, ideally within a school setting.
• GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above.
• Ability to supervise groups and maintain a positive learning environment.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, resilient and highly motivated Cover Supervisor to join our supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to play a key role in ensuring learning continues when teachers are absent.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confidence in managing classrooms, and the ability to engage and motivate students across a range of subjects and year groups. You will be organised, proactive and able to think on your feet, maintaining high expectations while fostering positive relationships with students and colleagues alike.
